FINAL THOUGHTS

Since I modified the Leading Edge decals to make Tanker 1, I also had to make new nose art. It was carefully hand painted using a very fine brush.

To convert the wartime A-26 into a fire bomber, I had to shorten the bomb bay and doors by two scale feet, cover over the opening for the gun turrets, and add the compartment bulkheads to keep the retardant from sloshing around. On top of the fuselage I also added the air vents, although on this model they're closed when they should be open.
